Rentbrella is committed to the sustainable objectives of the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, by basing its role as a company on socioeconomic and environmental issues.
It is estimated that 1,1 billion umbrellas are discarded per year, with this amount of material, 25 Eiffel Towers could be built.
By promoting shared consumption, Rentbrella reduces the production and the improper disposal of umbrellas.
UMBRELLAS WITH RPET FABRIC
Made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET), our umbrellas reduce up to 187,000 plastic bottles in the environment per rainy day, in addition to allowing a significant reduction in water consumption in their manufacture.
With each new city, we avoid the emission of up to 33 tons of CO2
per rainy day due to our sustainable manufacturing processes.
REDUCTION OF CARBON DIOXIDE
CARE BEYOND THE RAIN
When the umbrella's life cycle comes to an end, we take advantage of its rPET fabric and turn it into new materials that are sent to NGOs and communities in need.
