It is estimated that a staggering 1.1 billion umbrellas are discarded every year worldwide – enough material to build the equivalent of 25 Eiffel Towers.
By championing the shared consumption model, Rentbrella directly tackles this issue: we not only drastically reduce the production of new umbrellas but also prevent their improper disposal.

Made from recycled PET bottles and hydrophobic fabric, our umbrellas offer protection and safety rooted in sustainability. They also provide comfort while enhancing urban mobility.

For each new city where we implement our ecosystem, installing over 10 umbrella-sharing machines helps avoid up to 33 tons of CO2 emissions on a rainy day.
This is achieved through sustainable manufacturing and by encouraging a the circular economy.

CARE BEYOND THE RAIN
At the end of their service life, our umbrellas are given a new purpose. We collect and reprocess their r-PET fabric, transforming it into new products that are then donated to NGOs and communities in need.
