THE FIRST BUSINESS INSIGHT HAPPENED ON THE SUBWAY
One of our founders, Nathan Janovich, was walking on the subway and was taken by surprise by a storm. Waiting for the rain to end, he saw a bicycle and thought:
– “IF BIKES ARE SHARED,
WHY NOT UMBRELLAS?”
UMBRELLAS AS A SPACE FOR MEDIA
The idea was taken to Freddy, our second founder. He helped shape it into a viable business plan: using the umbrellas and stations for sponsorship and advertising.

From there, the entire technological and media ecosystem of the company was structured. Today Rentbrella already has more than 450 stations and 40 thousand umbrellas distributed throughout São Paulo, New York and London.
WE DON'T WANT TO RULE THE
WORLD, WE WANT TO SHARE WITH IT
Our reach is not limited to this continent, we want to expand sharing across the world. The idea is to take this intelligence to the main regions of the globe, after the cities of São Paulo, New York and London our next steps will take us across Europe.
